We love our Pivot mountain bikes

I just spent 2 days at SDM which was my 3rd time there, and it never disappoints. Maelstrom side trails are by far, my favourite set of trails, especially staying in one of the awesome Tiny Homes. Coming from Ontario, Quebec is so far ahead of us with their trail building and access. It's nice to see a Province and City collaborate so well together to both build the trail networks and market them so well, bringing in Brice, Remi and so many others to help spread the word. Tres Bien!!

What does this traing other than the trunk?

Really need to get to SDM. We spent a week in the Mont St. Anne area last summer which was incredible. I'm surprised how rare it is that people talk about the food in the area in these promo vids. The restaurants in Quebec city are insanely good, even if the biking was only OK, it would be worth it just for the food. So easy to get in and out of and around Quebec city.

It's been a minute, but man your riding is really advanced and is quite impressive. so is the quality of the video and I love the content and interviews. I am definitely going to bring the fam up for a trip next year! Thanks for the overview. 😊

Very nice video. I have seen a lot - a lot - of riding clips and videos from SDM ..... for a lot of very subtle reasons the riding clips in this video are the most appealing to me...... beautiful filming. We must mention also the volunteer efforts of "DIG SDM" - a volunteer group focussed on the trails at SDM.

Some words of wisdom from a local. Marquette is heaven for the right person and hell for the wrong person. It’s important to know your priorities as a person before considering moving to Marquette. 😃

Nice! They tore up Trestle on this rig! I'm going to demo this bike this Sunday on Colorado Front Range. Looks pretty sweet with the coil setup.

Thanks for coming up here and spending time in town. We do have some awesome terrain that even we forget to appreciate at times. Tourism is getting more and more popular so the summers are getting "full". Having traveled and lived around the world I still feel the UP is something special, and if anyone spends time here they will tend to agree. Winters are usually more brutal than one would expect with the lake affecting it. Thanks again for the video and see ya on the trails!

Mackinac and Mackinaw are pronounced the same. -ac is from the French derivation of native name for the area. That said, I love Marquette. I'd move there or back to Houghton in a heartbeat.

Maybe best not to over-popularize the trails we have in the U.P. for your views count. Things are already getting trashed because of over-marketing up here, and this kind of thing definitely doesn't help. And yeah - it was hard to hear "Mackinak" - jeez.

Snowshoe bike park and backcountry trails are a must for all MTB enthusiasts. A shuttle service for backcountry trails will attract more riders.

I moved here for the mountain biking but just fell in love with love with everything about Marquette.

Marquette's mtb scene has been at the forefront of showing the rest of Michigan that e-mtb's are OK......and anyone who's ever thought about winching up Benson Grade for just one more, will appreciate how an e-mtb can make that question less painful! Love the trails there (and the beer) - cheers to Pivot for hosting this vid.
